Science is both a body of knowledge and a series of pathways leading to greater understanding of the natural world. Science answers questions about the natural world. Human beings get science from studying the Creation. We study the natural world and discern knowledge from it to enhance our lives in the material world. The more students understand the natural world, the more they recognize the oneness of matter. The unity we witness in the natural world reflects that human life is also one as explained by Imam W. Deen Mohammed.
Natural science courses cover a variety of topics, including biology, environmental science, chemistry, physics, physical science, and earth science. These subjects are explored through observation, questioning, models, experimenting, argument, analyzing and interpreting data, and using mathematics and critical thinking.
Students will progress through a series of science courses during their studies.
